Marty Brennaman’s Reds Hall of Fame Induction and Legends Game

The biggest Reds alumni gathering of all time will be held at the Great American Ball Park on Friday to welcome legendary broadcaster Marty Brennaman to the Reds Hall of Fame. After its induction ceremony, the Hall of Famers and former players step onto the field for the Reds Hall of Fame Legends Game, followed by a Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks show to celebrate a night celebrating the best of Cincinnati baseball. Reserved tickets also include a ticket to the Reds Pirates game on September 20th, a voucher to visit the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, and a souvenir scorecard for the Legends Game on Friday. Cincy VegFest

Welcome to paradise for vegetable lovers. Cincy VegFest exhibitors are offering plant-based snacks and food demos while visitors enjoy a day of yoga, lectures, music and community at this free festival in Burnet Woods. This free, family-friendly event in Hamilton features vendors selling unique gifts and home accessories, as well as local clubs, nonprofits, businesses, service organizations, restaurants and caterers. Get a bite from a food truck (Sweet Jazz Treats will be there), enjoy live music, and let the kids enjoy a petting farm at this event in Hamilton.

Bill Keating Jr. Great swim in the Ohio River

Whether you’re a born swimmer or just want to cross a dip in the Ohio River off your bucket list, this Sunday is your perfect dip in the river. At just over half a mile, the Great Ohio River Swim is the largest open water swim in mighty Ohio and back. This tradition (since 2007!) Also supports the non-profit Adventure Crew and their swimming training program, which gives urban youth access to swimming lessons, water safety instructions and lifeguard certifications. Don’t forget to bring your hat and safety glasses.

Cincinnati guitar show

The Midwest’s premier guitar show returns to Sharonville on Sunday, featuring local vendors, rare guitars, beautiful artwork, and great deals for those just starting out to pick up the six-string. You can also find new and used basses, amps, drums, and anything else you need to put the band together. Go on!

Great beer garden experience

The second weekend of the Big Biergarten Experience begins on Friday with the largest selection of German beers in Cincinnati. There is plenty of food, merchandise, music and games at this “warm-up” for the Germania Society’s Oktoberfest (which will be back in 2021).
